SenSory Behavior in Mice
How do fast changes in our brain affect the way we experience touch? We use the mouse somatosensory system to model how neural dynamics influence tactile perception, and recently we have generalized some of our findings to the mouse visual system. To measure perception, we observe changes in behavior during neural perturbation and changes in neural dynamics while our mice interact with their environment. Our lab focuses on whisker manipulations in head-fixed mice.
